(2) The deformation that occurs during the processing of complex steel structures mainly includes hot deformation, cold deformation, or related components that cannot be assembled into a whole.

Operation methods for reducing welding thermal deformation in steel structure factory buildings:

(1) Using positioning control method: Before welding, many welding points are used to position the welding area or surrounding area, and heavy objects can be pressed on both sides of the weld seam. This method is called positioning control method.

(2) Fixture fixation method: Use a highly rigid fixture to clamp the assembled welded part, use force to control deformation, and then proceed with welding. This method is called fixture fixation method. The expansion and contraction forces generated inside the welded part during welding are limited by the clamping force, which can significantly reduce deformation. However, this method incurs significant internal stress in welded components, making it unsuitable for use in components that require low internal stress.

(3) Anti deformation method: Before welding, the components should be judged based on the welded metal components. When cooling after welding, deformation direction and shrinkage occur, and the welded part bends or tilts in the opposite direction in advance. After welding, due to its own shrinkage deformation, it just returns to the predetermined shape and position. It can achieve the goal of preventing welding deformation and reducing welding stress.
